Sex Pain: What Does It Tell Women About Their Bodies?

Uterus Issues - Any problems with the uterus can cause pain, this can include fibroids. 

Endometriosis - This condition allows the tissue that lines the uterus to grow on the outside of the uterus rather than the inside where it should be. 

Issues with Ovaries - Problems with the ovaries including cysts can cause pain. 

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) - This condition occurs when the tissue deep inside become inflamed. 

Ectopic pregnancy - This occurs when a fertilized egg grows outside of the uterus. 

Menopause - During menopause the vaginal lining can become dry and cause pain during sex. 

Sexually transmitted diseases - These can include sores from herpes, genital warts or others.
